0The service was quite urgent (almost overnight), and they still managed to find time for my move, which was much appreciated given the delicate situation.
Furthermore, the contact person, Bruno, was always attentive, keeping me updated on the location and estimated arrival times on the day of the service.
Highly recommended.
The quote was clear from the beginning, with no surprises at the end. I highly recommend this company if you're looking for a quick and well-executed move in Alicante.
Bruno was very professional on the phone terrible in the end. On moving day, the movers were unprofessional, showed up a day late, didn't come with enough people or a big enough van, complained, didn't finish their job and broke two pieces of our furniture.
Let's start with the lead-up. Bruno was very responsive and professional, assuring me that it would all go smoothly. He asked for pictures and videos, as well as a description that what needed to be moved. I sent everything. I called him two days before to ask if I needed to arrange for parking in the middle of the city, and he assured me that he would take care of that.
Two days before the move, one day before the packing day, Bruno calls me and tells me that they are sure that they can accomplish the entire move in one day if they bring four men. As I believed that he was the professional, I agree that this is acceptable but warn him that we absolutely had to be out on the move day because it was the end of our lease.
Move day: this guy shows up with one other mover and a tiny van that wouldn't have fit 15% of the items I have described to him. I begin to get angry, and he sees an opportunity to rip us off... he asks us for 300 euros more for two additional movers that we were already supposed to have and a larger van (again already supposed to be included). Bruno said that the videos and photos I had sent him never loaded, only the strange thing is if they hadn't loaded, why hadn't he told me in August when we arranged the entire move over WhatsApp... Well, now what can we do? We literally have no other option, as it's our final day in our lease.
Bruno begins 'packing' items inside of furniture... As the child of a military professional that moved every three years of my life. I tell him that I don't want it done like that, it isn't correct. I want fragile items, like wine glasses that he is shoving into cupboards to be wrapped correctly and packaged, and for the furniture to be dismounted as we had agreed upon. He takes it upon himself to start singing a song about how it was a 'waste of time', seemingly believing I don't understand him.
Finally, the bigger van (which had arrived earlier with two other movers) takes off for the first time to go to our new place, right on Avenida Oscar Espla, one of the busiest roads in the center of Alicante. Only, when they arrive, they are promptly told to leave because Bruno never applied for anywhere to park... so now they have to walk over 100 meters with each piece of furniture, which results in them breaking two pieces, and setting them in corners of the house so that we cannot see the damage.
We all arrive in the house after about 3 or 4 van loads have gone, and Bruno is assembling the furniture as I am taking inventory to make sure that all of our boxes (numbered) made it to the new apartment... Bruno makes it look like lots of pieces of furniture are put together, only the next day when we try to make beds, etc. we notice that he did not complete about 3/4 of the screws and we find the damaged furniture.
Worst move of my life and I have lived in about 20 different places, i.e. about 19 moves. I wouldn't hire Bruno if his grandmother was dying and he needed the money to pay for her funeral. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!Leer más
